Full-time fully qualified Toolmaker required in a precision engineering company.

Duties include:
1. Programming and operation of CNC machines
2. In-process inspection & quality inspection of finished components
3. Achieving production & quality targets
4. Basic machine maintenance
5. Reading & interpreting engineering drawings, geometric dimensions & tolerances for specific one-off/low volume specialist customer requirements
6. Ensuring all processes & procedures are followed to ISO 9001:2015
7. Adhering to all Health & Safety rules at all times
Work Schedule: 39hrs
Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm (8.5hr shift)
Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm (5hr shift)
Flexi time optional
Experience:
1. Minimum of 2 years fully qualified having completed the statutory 4 year apprenticeship in the trade of Toolmaker
2. Mechanical/Engineering background highly beneficial
3. Ability to use CNC milling machines, manual lathes & surface grinders associated with the trade of toolmaker
4. Ability to read & interpret technical drawings
5. Understanding of geometric tolerances
6. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
