Excel Recruitment is now looking for a Rigid Drivers to join our well-known client’s team in Naas.

Responsibilities:
* Safe, accurate and timely delivery of goods to stores throughout the island of Ireland.
* Carry out several daily checks including pre-departure vehicle checks and that your load is safe and secure.
* Unload your vehicle and complete a delivery de-brief.
* Chart out the appropriate route using maps or GPS.
* Drive the truck to the destination in a safe manner and by following all traffic rules.
* At least a year of driving experience in a similar multi-drop role.
* Previous experience in the food service industry is desirable.
* Pleasant manner when delivering to customers.
* Ability to meet deadlines.
* High attention to detail and thorough execution.
* Valid CPC.
* Holding a good understanding of Health and Safety Legislation, Food Safety Standards, and a good geographic knowledge of the Irish road network.
