Meet the Team:
We have an opening for a Facilities Manager to support the start-up of our first European manufacturing site in Athenry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Tender and appoint contractors for services, plant, equipment, installation or service work for Production operations.
* Assist in design review, site acceptance and installation of equipment.
* Support QA Validation by preparation of design documents and protocol execution.
* Develop and lead an asset management program/strategy.
* Lead engineering/technician team to deliver corrective/preventative actions for existing equipment and maintenance processes.
* Supervise mechanical and electrical contractors.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* Conduct troubleshooting for complex issues with plant equipment.
* Ensure out of hours engineering support system is in place.
* Support all company safety and quality programs.
* Provide technical expertise during regulatory audits.
* Operate and monitor central support utilities.
* Maintain company reputation by enforcing compliance with laws, policies and regulations.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience.
* Experience leading multi-skilled technicians and support engineers in manufacturing environment.
* Proven experience in cGMP clean/grey utilities, HVAC equipment, piping, ducting and/or controls.
* Knowledge of ISO standards.
* Exposure to facilities equipment best-practice maintenance including CMMS and RCM.
* Excellent communication/organisation skills.
* Applicable knowledge of CAPA process.
