Electrical Project Manager

The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of large-scale electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale electrical projects in data centres, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors.
* Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion.
* Coordinate with General Contractors (GCs), clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
* Lead the design review, procurement, and installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Implement health & safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
* Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
* Ensure adherence to quality assurance and control procedures.
* Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams and subcontractors.
* Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, addressing concerns and providing regular progress updates.
* Support business development efforts by identifying new project opportunities and assisting in proposal preparation.
Requirements:
* Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience managing large-scale electrical projects in data centres, pharmaceutical, or industrial sectors.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HV/LV power distribution, and industry regulations.
* Experience working with General Contractors (GCs) and Client-Side Project Teams.
* Ability to manage budgets, contracts, schedules, and risk assessments effectively.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
* Health & Safety certifications (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH) are an advantage.
* Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
