Sales and Business Development Manager
Our client, a leading supplier of water treatment components, is seeking a dynamic Sales and Business Development Manager to build and maintain long-term profitable relationships with customers.
The Role:
Reporting to the Managing Director, this role involves being a trusted advisor to customers, developing new business, and proactively managing the sales pipeline.
Main Responsibilities:
* Developing new business and proactive development of sales pipeline
* Sales strategy development & execution working individually and with existing sales teams
* Identifying new opportunities in both existing and complementary sectors
* Support bid process including application, fulfilment, demos, and pricing
* Strategic Account management
* Business development with existing customers, identifying upsell opportunities
* Customer relationship management
* Uncovering and consistently sharing industry and sector intel with Management and existing sales teams
* Active engagement with product management function to inform problem or opportunity-oriented roadmap
* Author marketing material such as white papers sharing trends and subject matter expertise
Skills & Experience:
We need someone with 5+ years of sales and business development experience in a similar industry, who can translate technical and business requirements and adjust communication approach depending on audience.

* Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with the customer
* Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
* Experience showcasing products and services as a strategic fit for customers
* Ability to work individually and within a small team
* Ability to capture and identify integrated opportunities
