Moulding Engineer Role

Job Responsibilities:
* Partner with quality teams to ensure product attributes and performance meet all specifications.
* Ensure day-to-day maintenance activities are performed to maintain manufacturing equipment.
* Liaise with Production to maximize equipment performance.
* Maintain records and documentation on relevant engineering procedures and preventative/demand maintenance.
* Liaise with internal/external engineering personnel and contract maintenance providers to troubleshoot and install/commission equipment.
* Design and plan new mould tools and processes.
* Integrate new injection mould tooling and equipment into manufacturing processes.
* Provide technical oversight on existing lines, investigate yields, and analyze quality trends.
* Prepare CAPA plans and implement them according to timelines.
* Lead projects against agreed project milestones.
* Collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, Customers, Suppliers, Vendors, and Internal Cross-Functional teams as required.
* Ensure projects are delivered on-time and within budget according to business requirements.
* Analyze metrology measurements during product development phases.
* Make decisions on mould design and steel adjustments to meet tight tolerances.
* Establish calibration, preventive maintenance, and spare parts programs.
* Ensure compliance with calibration and maintenance requirements.
* Ensure safety standards are met and safe working practices are adhered to.
* Comply with all Quality, Regulatory, GMP requirements and adhere to all company policies and relevant legislation.
* Participate in Risk Management activities as required.
Requirements:
* A relevant technical qualification in engineering/science/moulding.
* Degree Level preferable and/or relevant experience.
* 5-7 years+ relevant experience.
* Demonstrated knowledge of molding, extrusion, and/or polymer processes and technologies.
* Strong analytical problem-solving skills; statistics knowledge/experience would be advantageous.
* Previous project/process management, product technology transfer/NPI, and validation experience is desirable.
* Results-driven with proven ability to prioritize work.
* Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Good working knowledge of quality systems would be helpful.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential.
* Working knowledge of AutoCad and/or Solidworks is a benefit.
