Marketing and Sales Support Executive, Tekno SurgicalReporting to: General Manager, Tekno SurgicalLocation: DublinTekno Surgical is an Irish Medical Device Distributor, and the largest business within the Uniphar Medtech Division in Uniphar GroupThe Marketing and Sales Support Executive role is an exciting opportunity to become involved in all areas of business development & market support in Tekno Surgical.The suitable candidate will design, create and oversee the further development of the Tekno Surgical Marketing journey. This includes multi-platform marketing campaigns in line with our existing Sales Support function. The role will utilise all communication channels (email, social, digital, etc.) to reach all areas of Tekno’s target audience.Key responsibilities:The suitable candidate will plan and coordinate marketing activities in line with the sales team. They will develop and follow a marketing schedule in line with the marketing strategy for each of the business units in Tekno Surgical Tasks may include coordinating marketing & sales events, managing creative projects, creating content, conducting research and monitoring campaign performance.Manage & develop the digital marketing activities to include LinkedIn and Tekno Website. Gaining a high-level knowledge of the Tekno Portfolio and Specialities.Assist Business Unit Leads in finding new Suppliers, identifying gaps in the Tekno Portfolio and conducting Market Research.Accompany Sales Staff to Conference & Educational Events as required, both local & international.Build up contacts and relationships with the Marketing Personnel in our Suppliers Organisations.Endeavour to align Tekno with the marketing strategies of our Suppliers.Collaborate with the Sales Team Managers re Sales & Marketing initiatives and communications to the Market.Distribute marketing reports to Sales Managers re marketing initiatives & activities.Support tender submissions to customers, from a marketing perspective, preparing and collating the relevant marketing information.Must have flexibility to work outside of standard working hours where/when requiredThe successful candidate will be expected to work as part of a team, demonstrating the flexibility and initiative to proactively contribute to the marketing and sales support activities based on business need.Key Skills & ExperiencesThe successful candidate will have 2- years’ experience in a similar Marketing roleStrong proficiency in IT skills, particularly Social Media platformsComfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.Growth mindset, positive attitude and ambitious to grow.Strong customer orientation _ consistent with Tekno’s ethos of not only meeting but exceeding customer expectations.Strong communication skills, both written and oral.Teamwork _ the role requires working within a team and engaging with a sizable Field based organisationSuperior organisation and planning skills.Strong Project Management skills including planning, budgeting, time management and resource allocationAbility to work independently with little/no supervisionDetail oriented with an ability to work to tight deadlinesCommitted with a drive to succeedTekno SurgicalEstablished in 1996 and based in Dublin, Tekno Surgical is a leading provider of Orthopaedic implants in Ireland.
