Our team provides planning, environmental studies, preliminary planning design to our clients in the renewable energy sector and offers design and contract management services for the construction of infrastructure projects such as roads, greenways, bridgeworks, rail, solid waste facilities, renewable energy, drainage, water and wastewater treatment facilities, airports, tunnels and gas pipelines.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer who will work as an integral member of the Energy team in the Cork, Dublin or Carlow office, supporting the expansion of the Energy and Planning business and collaborating closely with fellow professionals.
This position offers exposure to a broad range of areas within the Energy and Planning sector including project management, environmental assessment and preliminary design for renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure projects are delivered to the timescales, quality and costs agreed with the client;
* Plan and manage CAD documentation of design work, working closely with Project Engineers and Engineering Technicians;
* Attend onsite meetings with the client and other professionals;
* Evaluate compliance with our Quality Assurance and Management Systems and relevant health and safety legislation;
* Coordinate work with other members of the project team.
Requirements:
* Degree in Civil Engineering;
* 7 years post-graduate experience;
* Chartered Engineer status;
* Experience in Project Managing the preliminary civil design of renewable energy projects is desirable but not mandatory;
* Candidate should be a high-energy professional with excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills;
* Experience of engaging with external stakeholders, clients and sub-contractors;
* Flexible and a good team player capable of working efficiently and on own initiative;
* Full drivers licence.
