Main Responsibilities for the successful Finance Administrator: * Ensure timely and accurate recording of supplier invoices and employee expenses, maintaining compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
* Oversee customer invoicing, track outstanding payments, follow up on overdue accounts, and implement effective credit control measures to minimise risk.
* Act as the primary point of contact for resolving billing discrepancies, payment inquiries, and account-related issues.
* Manage supplier payments, reconcile statements, and maintain positive relationships with vendors to ensure smooth financial operations.
* Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements and credit card transactions, identifying and addressing discrepancies.
* Review, verify, and process employee reimbursement claims, ensuring compliance with internal policies and tax regulations.
* Support the finance team in compiling and analysing financial reports, providing insights to aid decision-making.
* Work closely with external accounting firms to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, assist in audits, and facilitate the preparation of annual financial statements.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting workflows, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Main requirements for the successful Finance Administrator: * Min 2+ years' experience in a similar finance or accounting role in a Small Business.
* Qualified or Part Qualified Accountancy Qualification ATI/ACCA/ACA/CPA.
* A wiz at Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Proficient in Cloud Accounting Software such as Xero/QuickBooks/SageOne.
* Excellent Communication Skills - Written and Verbal.
