Job Overview
A leading engineering services company is seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as an Authorised Person. This role will involve working onsite in Dublin, providing high-quality customer-focused project delivery.

Responsibilities
1. Organise and execute HV switching, isolation, earthing, and issue of safety documentation for customer HV networks up to 33kV.
2. Ensure all personnel observe and comply with relevant Safe Systems of Work.
3. Evaluate, review, appoint and maintain a register of skilled/competent persons (including records of training and areas of responsibilities).
4. Carry out Investigations with respect to near misses, incidents, and accidents.
5. Assist with and coordinate on-site teams and sub-contractors, ensuring they complete tasks on time and safely to required standards.
6. Allocate work and ensure completion in accordance with the project schedule and Cx Plan.
7. Adhere to all Statutory Standards and Regulations.
8. Assist teams with resolving matters arising.
9. Maintain effective health and safety systems, including completion of risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks, etc.
10. Complete project documentation and reports accurately and concisely.
11. Identify corrective actions and implementation of countermeasures to maximise productivity.
12. Liaise with client managers daily and have a voice in project meetings.

Requirements
1. Ability to use own initiative with a hands-on approach.
2. Excellent project management and organisational skills.
3. Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Demonstrated teamwork skills, attention to detail and work ethic.
6. Authorised as AP able to work on 33kV.
7. Experience of delivering efficient and effective services to customers whether on site or at a planning stage from an office environment.
8. Excellent knowledge of Distribution Safety rules and their application.
9. Excellent H&S Knowledge and Standards.
10. Safe Pass – CCNSG/CSCS or equivalent.
11. Ability to demonstrate a pragmatic and 'common sense' approach to problem solving.
12. Ability to prioritise works, accommodate conflicting requests, whilst ensuring the day-to-day functionality of the project.
