About the Role
As an Electrical Utilities Technician, you will work as part of our utilities team to plan and execute maintenance activities in line with our maintenance and process schedules. You will assist in commissioning activities, project support, and equipment vendor maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with the Utilities Department and Engineering Department to plan and schedule maintenance activities.
* Ensure all PTW and mechanical isolations are in place to perform maintenance works related to mechanical utilities.
* Develop cost-saving and energy reduction initiatives on utilities systems.
* Update GMP maintenance documents and drawings to reflect any changes required and to improve operation of maintenance activities.
Requirements
* Apprenticeship or 3rd Level qualification with Mechanical Experience or electrical experience.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in Mechanical/electrical utilities or process maintenance.
* Must have experience working within the Pharmaceutical or Biologics industry.
* Strong practical Mechanical knowledge.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
* Good interpersonal skills and a self-starter.
Skills and Abilities
* Execution of mechanical/electrical preventative and corrective maintenance tasks on production systems and equipment.
* Supporting both the electrical and calibration departments within the production area.
* Awareness of GMP practices.
* Ability to read mechanical drawings and system P&ID's.
* Maintain all documentation in an organized and controlled manner, in compliance with client procedures.
