Kids Club Assistant
We are currently recruiting for a Kids Club Assistant to join our team at The Dunloe Hotel & Gardens. As a Kids Club Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating memorable and engaging experiences for our youngest guests. Working closely with our Kids Club Manager, you will be part of a dynamic and creative team dedicated to ensuring a safe, educational, and entertaining environment for children and families staying at the hotel.

This is a fixed-term position running from the beginning of April to the end of September 2025. The role will be part-time, with a maximum of 20 to 30 hours per week.
Duties:
Support the Kids Club Manager in planning and executing engaging, age-appropriate activities for children and families.
Educate and train all team members in compliance with current legislation, safety regulations, and hotel policies to ensure the highest safety and quality standards are met.
Ensure all team members are properly trained on service expectations, safety procedures, and guest interaction protocols, and that they are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to carry out their duties effectively.
Oversee compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, ensuring all activities and play areas adhere to required safety standards.
Establish and maintain high-quality service and guest satisfaction goals, continuously improving the guest experience within the Kids Club.
Respond promptly and professionally to all guest inquiries, complaints, and requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and resolving any issues effectively.
Design and implement a creative, energetic, and safe activity program for children, teens, and families, ensuring a balance between entertainment and education.
Stay up to date with current trends in children’s activities and entertainment to continuously improve and innovate the Kids Club program.
Conduct inventory procedures, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available for daily operations.
Monitor and maintain par stock levels of materials and equipment required for the Kids Club, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Ensure the security, proper storage, and maintenance of all Kids Club equipment, toys, and materials, replenishing supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner while minimizing waste.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate activities, special events, and holiday programs tailored to enhance the family experience at the hotel.
Assist in promotional activities to encourage participation in the Kids Club and enhance guest engagement.
Perform additional duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to support the department in various roles to optimize efficiency and overall guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel, childcare facility, or activity center is highly desirable.
Garda Vetting is essential to ensure compliance with child protection and safeguarding requirements.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons, to accommodate the needs of the hotel and its guests.
A passion for working with children and delivering engaging and safe activity programs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Creativity and enthusiasm for planning fun, educational, and interactive activities.
Fluency in the English language is required to effectively communicate with guests and colleagues.
First Aid certification is an advantage but not essential.
