Senior IT Systems EngineerAs a Senior Engineer at DataLogiX, you will be responsible for collaborating with our clients to understand their IT requirements in manufacturing networks. You will help design, implement, and maintain IT systems and solutions to meet their requirements. You will also assist with system assessments, troubleshoot and resolve IT related issues.In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to ensure integration of IT/OT systems with existing systems. You will conduct system testing, validation, and documentation to ensure system reliability and performance. Additionally, you will provide technical expertise and guidance to clients and internal teams on operational technology best practices and industry standards.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with clients to understand their operational technology requirements and project objectivesDesign, implement, and maintain IT/OT systems and solutions to meet project requirementsConduct system assessments, troubleshoot, and resolve operational technology issuesWork with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to ensure integration of IT systems with existing systemsConduct system testing, validation, and documentation to ensure system reliability and performanceProvide technical expertise and guidance to clients and internal teams on operational technology best practices and industry standardsStay updated with the latest trends, advancements, and regulations in the operational technology field RequirementsDegree / Diploma in a computer-related discipline with networking preferredCCNP, CCDP, CCNA, VCP Certifications highly regardedMinimum 5+ years of experience in a network support roleStrong knowledge of Cisco Networking & Firewalls (Palo Alto and Cisco)Experience with configuration & troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, Wireless LAN, and VPNGood understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP technologiesExperience with Windows Server platforms & Active DirectoryGood working knowledge of VMWare vSphere & vMotionKnowledge of cybersecurity best practicesMust own a car (Car allowance provided) Join our team and be part of a dynamic company that values innovation, creativity, and teamwork.
