Bridge Fund Management Limited (Bridge) is a third party UCITS Fund Management Company & Alternative Investment Fund Manager authorised and regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland with assets under management of approx. €100 Billion. The Bridge group has a long history providing services to UCITS and Alternative investment fund since 2005.
Our clients’ funds range from under €100m AUM to over €10bn with a diverse set of strategies and investment security types.

The Opportunity
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Risk and play a key role in all aspects of Fund Risk, including contributing to strategic initiatives and potentially leading or mentoring junior staff members.
The role involves regular engagement with senior management and external stakeholders, presenting a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the governance and performance of a dynamic Fund Management Company.
The position – key responsibilities:
1. Perform ongoing monitoring of investment risks of funds to ensure that each continues to be managed in line with investment objectives, policy and within its investment risk and relevant regulatory restrictions.
2. Generate, review, and enhance risk analytics using in-house and third-party risk management tools.
3. Assist in the implementation of the internal Fund Risk Management framework as part of new product initiatives and fund launches.
4. Assist the Fund Risk team in the preparation of board reports.
5. Respond promptly to material risk issues that arise on funds by escalating to the appropriate authority within the management company.
6. Generate both regular and exception-based risk reporting for both fund boards and the management company that enables each to fulfil their governance obligations related to the risk management of investment funds under their management.
7. As part of the Fund Risk team, contribute to the onboarding of new clients by drafting the risk related documentation (e.g., Risk Management Process, Risk Appetite Statements, Risk Profiles) and to any other fund due diligence and documentation that requires input from the Fund Risk Team.
8. Liaise regularly with key external stakeholders - including: investment managers, administrators, depositaries, law firms, etc.
The Individual
1. A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in financial services.
2. Relevant finance or quantitative degree, with certification or progress towards qualifications such as FRM, PRM, CFA, or CAIA.
3. Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and convey insights effectively to stakeholders, including portfolio managers, fund directors, and senior management.
4. Energetic and solutions-driven team player, willing to support and collaborate with colleagues.
5. Self-starter with a detail-oriented and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
6. Adaptable, creative, and capable of addressing diverse client needs effectively.
7. A basic understanding of the AIFM and UCITS regulatory frameworks.
