AirconMech is a leading mechanical contractor seeking Graduate Mechanical Engineers to join their expanding team.
This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of building services and mechanical projects. The ideal candidate will support project delivery while working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret and understand technical drawings and layouts.
* Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders, including consultants, structural engineers, design teams, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Attend project and technical meetings to support project delivery.
* Complete O&M manuals accurately and on time.
* Manage subcontractors and the general workforce on site to ensure project timelines are met.
* Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely and high-quality component deliveries.
* Plan and execute works efficiently to meet project targets.
* Ensure all work complies with the highest health, safety, and quality standards.
* Oversee material orders and control onsite inventory.
Eligibility Criteria/ Qualifications and/or Experience
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following attributes:
* Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience in BIM/CAD is desirable but not essential.
* Previous experience (placement or internship) with a mechanical contractor or industry supplier is advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
