Senior Warehouse Manager | Dublin (Baldonnell)| 9am- 6pm, Monday to Friday (Flexibility in working hours will be required) | €55,000 per annum
An exciting new opportunity has become available for a Senior Warehouse Manager to join our client's team in Dublin.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of warehouse experience, excellent leadership skills, and a strong understanding of warehouse management. You will be responsible for managing multiple facilities and driving the efficiency and growth of the business.
Are you the right person for the job?
* A minimum of 3 years of warehouse knowledge and experience
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading diverse teams in a fast-paced environment
* In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management principles
* Strong geographical knowledge of Dublin and Ireland
* Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
* Experience managing large-scale or multi-site warehouse operations
* Well-organised with excellent attention to detail
* Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
What will your role look like?
As a Senior Warehouse Manager, you will oversee 3 warehouse facilities in Dublin, including one 3PL facility with stores, picking, packing, and dispatching, and two very busy goods-in and goods-out facilities. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Lead, manage, and develop a team of warehouse supervisors, operatives, and support staff
* Set performance targets and KPIs for the warehouse team, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to improve individual and team performance
* Foster a positive and productive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
* Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping of goods
* Lead and manage projects to contribute to the growth and operational efficiencies of the business
* Ensure inventory accuracy and manage stock levels, coordinating with procurement and other departments as necessary
* Manage and improve operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and optimise the use of resources
* Develop and manage the warehouse operations budget, ensuring that costs are kept within budgeted limits
* Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising operational efficiency or safety
* Manage team attendance and annual leave, ensuring smooth operations at all times
* Ensure the team follows Health and Safety regulations and best practices
* Provide first-line solutions to team members who require information, advice, and guidance
