Finance Manager
This is a long-term contract (15 months) position requiring 5+ years of post-qualified experience in a multinational environment. The role offers a hybrid setup with 4 days spent in the office in Galway city.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide accounting services, including transaction processing, general accounting, and reporting.
* Establish credibility and engage with external and internal stakeholders at all levels.
* Maintain strong technical accounting knowledge.
* Manage on-site and remote working teams.
* Lead relevant projects within the current day-to-day role.
* Standardize and implement policies & procedures to drive compliance, efficiency, and improved business productivity.
* Establish and implement internal controls and accounting policies in areas such as Revenue Recognition.
* BUILD STRONG COLLABORATIVE WORKING RELATIONSHIPS WITH LOCAL AND US TEAMS.
* Communicate and implement policies, operational controls, and procedures to ensure an efficient and accurate service to customers across the region.
* Contribute to defining service standards and continuously managing service level agreements.
* Perform financial analysis, including month-end review of business unit performance.
Requirements:
* Big-4 trained and qualified Accountant ACA, CIMA, ACCA with a Bachelor's Degree.
* 5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a multi-national environment.
* Knowledge of US GAAP, FRS102, and IFRS.
* Strong analytical capability and understanding of the commercial impact of accounting issues.
* Familiarity with SAP/SAGE ERP systems is essential.
