Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our team in Tipperary, where we are undertaking a major residential development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Site Management: Assist with the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project runs smoothly and efficiently.
* Setting Out: Perform setting out of the works, ensuring all measurements are accurate and in line with project specifications.
* Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work on-site, ensuring it complies with design specifications and relevant standards.
* Health & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment on-site.
* Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and monitor subcontractor activities, ensuring work is completed on time and to the required standards.
* Reporting: Assist in preparing daily/weekly reports for the Site Manager, tracking project progress, issues, and any changes.
* Problem Solving: Address any issues that arise on-site, escalating to senior management when necessary.
Key Requirements:
* A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
* 2+ years of experience as a Site Engineer, preferably on residential or civil engineering projects.
* Experience with setting out, quality control, and site supervision.
* Strong understanding of construction processes, health & safety regulations, and quality standards.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work well within a team.
* Full driving license.
