Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, you will lead and support a great team to ensure our guests receive a warm and efficient welcome for every stay.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Manage the planning and operation of the Front Desk.
2. Prepare, implement, and train staff on SOPs and standards.
3. Ensure arrival and departure procedures are followed to guarantee a positive guest experience.
4. Handle reservation calls efficiently, maintaining a high level of guest care.
5. Attend daily morning stand-up meetings and weekly Head of Department meetings.
6. Achieve high customer service standards within the department.
7. Oversee room allocation and liaise with Accommodation to ensure timely availability.
8. Upsell and promote hotel amenities.
9. Promote the hotel, its outlets, and local activities to all guests.
10. Maintain organized filing and administrative procedures in the department.
11. Recruit and train new team members.
Qualifications / Experience required:
1. Previous experience as a Front Office Manager or Assistant Manager is essential.
2. Working knowledge of Front Office Systems, preferably Opera, is essential.
3. Excellent written and spoken English skills.
4. Experience in a similar-sized property.
5. Strong interpersonal skills.
6. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
