Job Description Aramark Food Services is currently recruiting for a Operations Manager within our hospitality / food service to join our team.
The Operations Manager will work to ensure that all areas of people management and food operations and client activities are met as per company requirements.
Delivering ongoing innovation and meeting both company and client financial targets while ensuring client and visitor satisfaction ratings.
All aspects of this diverse and complex site will be in the daily responsibilities of the Operations Manager answering directly to the General Manager.
This is very hands on position working in very dynamic environment and working closely with client agents in ensuring service to highest standard.

This role involves managing client needs, ensuring exceptional communication, and providing support across various contracts during major events.

Job Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: · Day to day management of the site to a high standard, in line with client contract & General Manager direction · Monthly planning and rostering of the staff to ensure sufficient coverage for each shift · Maintain appropriate financial information systems as required by Aramark Ireland · Ensure that the correct daily cash procedures are followed including Petty Cash, lodgements, Safe Checks, etc are followed as laid down by Aramark · Ensure the customer experience is at a appropriate level across the whole site & all service & financial KPI's are met · Work with the General Manager to promote an inclusive and friendly workplace · Provide regular reports to the General Manager in regard to budgeted KPI's, Team Training & Development, Customer Satisfaction · Ensure training for responsible service of alcohol is maintained and that all relevant requirements are fulfilled in relation to licensing laws · Direct responsibility for full quality and safety compliance · Build and maintain excellent working relationships with all client department heads as well as key stakeholders in the business · Primarily responsible for food service operating standards · Maintain regular presence and visibility in all areas of the site owning the environment and attitude of the team · Identify opportunities throughout the site and investigate potential growth targets with General Manager · Recruitment, Training and Development of all Staff on site · Awareness of and adaptable to the seasonal realities of the business · Other duties as required by Management.
Qualifications The Ideal Candidate · An approved catering qualification at diploma/degree level and/or 5 years industry experience, 2 of which were at Cafe management or department deputy level, preferably with a strong background in a high volume restaurant /conference and banqueting/food service operation · A high degree of knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP, Facilities Management a plus · A passion for fresh food and service · Ability to multitask and work under pressure during high-stakes events.
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
· Comfortable with flexibility and adaptability in dynamic work environments.
· Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team and manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client and customer service · Professionalism and the ability to present and report on relevant business information · Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with advanced written and verbal communication skills · Full clean Driving licence · All back-Office systems in regard to Word, Excel, PP should be second nature, social media and booking systems knowledge a distinct plus · Ability to successfully implement positive changes · Prior detailed knowledge in the technical working and application of POS systems, AV and CC machines is imperative as this role will act as the main reporting position for daily operational issues & support needs · A confident and relaxed communicator is essential as the role demands a calm and efficient operator to support the General Manager in the day-to-day operations
