Dublin Zoo is currently seeking a highly motivated Ecology & Conservation Facilitator to join our Conservation Education Team.
The successful candidate will teach Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate Ecology and Conservation modules at Dublin Zoo. They must have a good knowledge and understanding of grassland/woodland ecology and the secondary school science and biology syllabus. They should be energetic and enthusiastic, with an ability to communicate and build rapport with secondary school students. Previous teaching experience and a degree in science, conservation or a related subject is desirable.
This contract will commence on September 16th and end on October 25th. Working hours are based on school bookings scheduled over 5 mornings per week – a minimum of 12 hours per week and a max of 20 hours per week.
