Eir evo talent have partnered with a major Public Sector client, in the search for anexperienced Application Support Manager to lead their Production Support Team.
In this key role, you will collaborate with the IT Project Lead to design, develop, and improve applications while ensuring smooth system operations.
You will manage a team of technical experts, oversee daily support activities, and drive process improvements, all within a fast-paced, multi-system environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Coordination: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Production Support Team Balance individual and team capacity to support multiple systems and deliverables Mentor and guide team members in understanding the business domain and solving technical issues Project and Ad-
Hoc Support:
Work closely with the IT Project Lead to assess and deliver urgent ad-hoc projects or non-project development as required Prioritize and manage workloads within the development team to meet deadlines Monitoring and Reporting: Prepare and deliver progress reports on project updates, QA results, risks, and improvement opportunities Identify deviations from scope, schedule, or budget and propose remedial actions Collaboration and Cross-
Functional Integration:
Collaborate with Infrastructure, Support, Engineering, and Data/Cloud Admin teams to ensure compatibility and interoperability of solutions Provide specialist advice and transfer knowledge to internal departments Process Optimization and Training: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices Document technical processes and provide training to enhance team efficiency
What Youll Bring:
Technical Expertise:
Strong experience with technologies such as SharePoint, (or equivalent), Angular, JavaScript, SQL, and Alfresco (or equivalent)
Leadership and Problem-Solving Skills:
Proven experience managing technical teams and supporting multiple system modules or projects simultaneously Strong problem-solving and issue resolution skills Ability to drive process improvements and optimize team performance Strategic Planning and Communication: Experience in strategic planning, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and knowledge transfer Ref: EET6638 oOo Candidates must be eligible to work full time and long term in the location specified or currently hold a valid appropriate long term work Visa to apply.
