GRADUATE STRUCTURAL/CIVIL ENGINEER
At Wright Quarry Products, we are a leading manufacturer of concrete products in Ireland. With over 65 years of experience, our product and service offering cater for residential, commercial, civil, and agricultural construction projects of all scales across Ireland and the UK.
We are seeking to recruit a Structural/Civil Engineer to join our Structural Precast Division headquartered in Swanns Cross, Rockcorry, Co. Monaghan.
Key Responsibilities
1. Routine and bespoke reinforced concrete design on a wide range of structural engineering projects from initial design through to production and installation.
2. Structural Calculation using industry-specific software as well as first principles and industry standards as required.
3. Production of drawings, reports, calculations, and structural specifications according to project requirements.
4. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Eurocodes along with IT skills (Ability to use FEM software desirable).
5. Effective communication amongst clients and colleagues including architects, engineers, and project managers.
6. To provide suitable and practical solutions to meet client expectations.
Requirements
* Qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering Degree (or equivalent).
* Strong in the area of Reinforced Concrete Design and Construction Detailing would be advantageous.
* Excellent organisation, planning, and time management skills, with an ability to work both under guidance and using your own initiative.
* Negotiating, supervisory, and leadership skills combined with the ability to delegate.
* Excellent verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills.
