Job Title:
Accounts Assistant / Office Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day operations of ecommerce finance function.
* Collaborate with Managers to identify and develop innovative business opportunities.
* Prepare and analyse weekly, monthly, and annual reports to monitor results, trends, and forecasts.
* Assist the financial teams with updating and recording supplier invoices and raising sales invoices accordingly.
* Ensure accurate recording, filing, and reporting of all financial transactions.
* Review financial data and reports for discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
* Support the office manager with various admin tasks.
* Recording KPIs and various data metrics.
Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience:
* Strong financial and commercial acumen, coupled with an analytical, methodical approach to problem-solving.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (365), Xero, and Shopify Accounts.
* Experience in payroll and HR functions.
* Results-driven mindset, with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
Preferred Experience:
* Previous finance administration experience
* Brief knowledge on purchase ledgers and invoicing (essential)
* Background in stock management and implementation of controls.
* Experience with foreign currencies and FX trade.
* Experience supplying wholesale clients and managing B2B/B2C online retail operations.
* Familiarity with international ecommerce sales channels.
