Job Purpose:
The Events Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing high-quality events that promote the Analytics Institute’s mission to advance the field of analytics. The role involves managing all aspects of event planning and execution, including logistics, marketing, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring all events are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Strategy:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with the Institute’s goals.
* Conduct research and gather insights to create events that meet the needs and interests of the analytics community.
* Prepare detailed event plans, including timelines, venues, suppliers, and budgets.
Event Execution:
* Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodation.
* Oversee the setup, running, and breakdown of events.
* Manage event registration processes and attendee communications.
Marketing and Promotion:
* Develop marketing campaigns to promote events through various channels (email, social media, website, etc.).
* Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and content.
* Utilize analytics to measure event marketing success and optimize future campaigns.
Stakeholder Management:
* Liaise with speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors to ensure their requirements are met.
* Build and maintain relationships with vendors, partners, and other stakeholders.
* Act as the main point of contact for all event-related inquiries.
Budget Management:
* Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all costs are tracked and within allocated funds.
* Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to achieve the best possible rates.
* Negotiate sponsorship deals with key event sponsors
* Provide regular financial reports and updates to the senior management team.
Evaluation and Reporting:
* Gather feedback from attendees, stakeholders, and team members post-event.
* Analyse event performance and prepare detailed reports, including insights and recommendations for future improvements.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Qualification in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and management preferred.
Skills:
* Strong project management and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
* Proficient in event management software tools and CRM platforms.
* Proficient in using common design tools to create event brochures, social media posts etc (Canva, In Design, or Adobe Pro)
* Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools.
* Budget management and financial reporting skills.

Working Conditions:
* Location: Primarily working from home (with in-person attendance at events, meetings etc. as required)
* Travel: Occasional travel required for event site inspections, meetings, setup, and execution.
* Hours: Full-time position with the expectation of additional hours during peak event times.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €36,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday
