Data Quality Lead, Public Sector, Kildare Contract Reference: 244765YR Our client, a Public Sector Body based in Kildare, is currently looking to recruit a Data Quality Lead to join their team.
The Data Quality Lead role will manage and maintain the integrity of data quality in the Database IT system.
The role holder will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of data quality, working with the regional Data Quality Lead (when appointed) to ensure alignment with national data quality objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities: Review, analyse and manage large volumes of data.
Develop and manage data quality reporting and performance measurements.
Identify opportunities to enhance and improve data quality within CoVax, contributing to regional and national forums where applicable.
Act as the point of escalation for Data Quality queries and issues.
Act as a CoVax super-user, to include user account management and manipulation of existing reports/dashboards.
Oversee the administrative management of all data quality matters within the CVC.
Work with the regional Data Quality Lead to support and address legacy data issues that are relevant to the CVC.
Support the regional Data Quality Lead in reporting issues to Head office teams as they require escalation.
Encourage continuous process improvement in areas of automation and computerisation.
Data input & verification into the regional data tool.
Develop & maintain dashboards regionally & produce regular reports on multiple programmes as required.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following competencies: Professional Knowledge & Experience Excellent IT skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams/Cisco WebEx/Zoom/similar video conferencing software.
Experience of analysing and collating large volumes of data and producing summary reports using MS Excel or similar tools.
Experience in managing and working collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Experience of working in a busy office environment which has involved interacting in a professional manner with senior management and other key internal and external stakeholders.
Capacity for management responsibility and demonstration of initiative, including decision making.
Ability to improve efficiency within the working environment, with adaptability to a changing environment.
An understanding of Irish health services and HSE reform.

The role will be based in Naas.
35 hours a week and 30 days annual leave.
