Customer Service Operative – Westport
My client, a progressive Irish-owned company based in Westport, is looking to hire a Customer Service Operative.
You will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and stakeholders across a range of channels including emails, phone, chat, and social media.
The role is fully onsite in my client's Westport offices.
Responsibilities:
1. Ownership and accountability is vital, development of the department and seeking out improvement for a better shopping experience for the customer.
2. Effectively manage and utilise the company's Customer Care systems to ensure all customer queries are followed up in a professional and timely manner.
3. Provide high quality customer support dealing with queries/complaints and collaborate with internal departments via phone/email to resolve issues.
4. Effectively manage and ensure smooth running of our Returns department.
5. Support the teams with constructive feedback and work on solutions.
6. Foster collaborative relationships with our stores and external partners.
7. Assist with other online operations when business needs arise.
8. Perform general administration duties.
Skills Required:
1. 2+ years of Customer Service experience in a busy environment.
2. Familiarity with GDPR guidelines and Irish consumer legislation.
3. Professional, friendly, and calm manner.
4. Clear communicator with strong organisational skills.
5. Computer literate (knowledge of Gorgias, Shopify, Microsoft Office, etc.).
6. Excellent literacy and strong grammar skills.
7. Fluent in English (oral and written).
8. Ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
