We are currently recruiting an Electrical Foreman for a Data Centre project in Frankfurt, Germany.
Key Responsibilities
1. Report to your direct line manager on all responsibilities and activities.
2. Management of the day-to-day site operations.
3. Managing the program, ensuring works are completed on time by coordinating site activities in a progressive manner.
4. Ensuring all plant materials onsite are as per agreed specifications.
5. Managing Quality Control set against approved benchmarks.
6. Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress compared to schedule and manpower levels, and raising damage notices as required.
7. Carry out sub-contractor meetings; active participation in look ahead meetings is essential.
8. Liaising with health and safety to ensure works are being completed in the correct and safe manner and ensuring works are carried out in accordance with the approved MSRA/RAMS.
9. Staying abreast with housekeeping and ensuring all operatives are completing same; management of material storage, actively participating in issuing the daily SPAs and permits, and participating in the TBTs and Whiteboard meetings ensuring operatives are aware of ongoing and upcoming works.
10. Ensure that all variations and delays are notified to the relevant line manager.
Key Requirements
1. Strong communication skills with fluency in both written and spoken English.
2. Trade qualified or construction related qualification.
3. 2+ years' experience on a large-scale project as an Electrical Foreman, or in another supervisory role.
4. Strong organization and management skills.
5. Ability to manage time, drive productivity, and meet deadlines.
6. Data centre experience is advantageous.
7. Ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
8. Interpersonal skills - and be willing to work on one's own initiative and as part of a wider site team.
