Your role
The Customer Data & Analytics Specialist role will assist in the continuous improvement in how we use data and analytics in order to build a better customer experience while improving revenue efficiencies.
As part of the Customer Data Management team, you will support the Customer department in all things data across a wide range of tasks that includes analysing data, creating dashboards or capturing business requirements.
We’re looking for someone with a natural curiosity as to how things work and how everything connects through data. Your work will directly affect the speed of roll-out and success of strategic products which will transform our customers’ journey from beginning to end.
Your primary responsibilities
1. Working with the Customer Data Management Manager, tracking and supporting a set of initiatives on the Customer department’s roadmap, including prioritising projects.
2. Taking ownership of the data elements of various Customer initiatives, acting as a key contact and becoming subject matter expert on Customer related queries.
3. Engaging with stakeholders across the business to ensure that all requirements are documented and working with these teams to ensure of their successful implementation.
4. Establishing robust testing, governance and administrative procedures for key databases and publishing documentation for any changes to them.
5. Supporting any data tasks including extracting, cleaning, compiling, analysing, dashboarding and UAT.
6. Avoiding duplication and ensuring consistency of data across the business, striving to avoid the creation of any data silos.
7. Being prepared to deliver this work to all levels of the business, from graduate to CEO.
Your Qualifications And Key Criteria
1. Bachelors / Masters degree in a business or related discipline.
2. 2+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting and/or infrastructure development.
3. Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, commitment and flexibility.
4. Strong analytical skills with complex problems with a high attention to detail.
5. Experience in building reports/dashboards on various systems, e.g. Excel, PowerBI, Tableau.
6. Experience extracting data from databases with SQL/Python, e.g. Snowflake, Databricks.
7. Experience in tracking developments in Confluence/JIRA is beneficial but not essential.
8. Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
9. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
10. Eligible to live and work in the EU.
11. Current unrestricted worldwide passport.
12. Be in possession or be able to pass a strict airport security vetting procedure which includes a 5 year background check (or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport this position is based in Dublin).
