Payroll Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at a reputable business in Donegal.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process weekly and monthly payrolls for approximately 200 employees.
* E nsure compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records.
* Generate and distribute payroll reports as needed.
* Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.
* Assist the FC and FD with general accounting duties on an ad hoc basis.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years payroll processing experience.
* Proficiency in payroll software and MS Suite, especially Excel.
* Strong understanding of payroll practices, tax regulations and compliance requirements.
* Confident communicator who can cross pollinate effectively with other departments and senior management.
* High attention to detail, strong analytical skills and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
