Internal Sales Executive
Reports To: Depot Manager/Sales Director
Location: Lisburn with occasional travel to meet clients or visit other operational sites
Hours of Work: 40 hours
The Internal Sales Executive is a key role within our sales team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Contact potential customers and present Mc Monagle Stone products to maximise sales
* Negotiate terms with customers and complete sales
* Process and manage sales orders directly from customers and Sales Executives
* Lead and mentor the Depot sales team, ensuring they are motivated, trained, and achieving individual targets
* Process quotation requests directly from customers, Estimators and Sales staff, ensuring they are completed in line with Department process requirements
* Win new business by generating new leads and business relationships, involving cold calls and daily contact with existing customers
* Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential customers via email and telephone
* Deal competently with all incoming phone calls and emails from customers in a helpful and courteous manner, maintaining high levels of professionalism at all times
* Assist with the administration for existing customers
* Maintain CRM system
* Co-operate with management and other staff in a pleasant and professional manner to ensure efficient promotion and running of the business
* Ensure and maintain utmost confidentiality of information
* Perform other duties as required, within your capabilities and as requested by your Manager
Requirements:
* Be well-organised, systematic, and enjoy the challenge of sales
* Be a team player
* Be enthusiastic, confident, and have a desire to succeed
* Be persuasive and engaging
* Have excellent written and oral communication skills
* Experience of Sage software or similar ERP system is essential
* Previous experience of working in an office
* An ability to interpret drawings is advantageous
