About the Role
The Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Technician will be responsible for adhering to site procedure in relation to the calibration of key manufacturing instrumentation. This includes releasing calibration work orders on CMMS, performing calibration, completing calibration work orders, entering obtained results on CMMS, and verifying other technician calibration work orders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out calibrations at required intervals according to device listing and complete relevant documentation.
* Adhere to site procedure in relation to raising Deviation/Change control on Trackwise system.
* Complete troubleshooting for key manufacturing instrumentation.
* Perform Preventive Maintenance tasks.
* Represent the maintenance team with regards to safety initiatives and practices to develop and maintain an injury-free workplace.
* Work within a larger engineering team of mechanical and electrical resources, including automation, facilities, project, and system engineers, with emphasis on performance, involvement, teamwork, and personal development.
* Utilize SAP Next to ensure all maintenance activities through consistent application of a work order system.
* Identify areas where calibration capability can be improved in relation to calibration systems.
* Reduce dependence on external calibration providers for critical calibrations.
* Ensure all maintenance activities meet regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, IMB, HSA, EPA).
* Identify, develop, and implement projects in efficiency improvement areas.
* Develop scientific risk-based approach to identifying key critical spares for plant and equipment.
* Perform all tasks with due recognition of safety, environment, GxP, and plant procedures.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who has successfully completed an Instrumentation, Electrical, or E&I apprenticeship. The ideal candidate will have extensive calibration experience, preferably with electrical qualification and further calibration certification.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a Med Device or Pharma manufacturing environment, with a strong working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and control systems in a production environment.
Previous experience within an ATEX environment is an advantage, as well as a demonstrated high-performance history, proven ability to execute and get results.
The ideal candidate will also have excellent awareness and experience in relation to Quality and Environmental Health and Safety, familiarity with GMP requirements within a regulated industry, and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
A willingness to work shift if required and a reasonable amount of overtime is also essential.

Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum
