Funded under the Healthy Communities Initiative, the HSE Mid West Integrated Alcohol Service is a community-based team which will deliver counselling and psycho-social interventions with adults with problematic alcohol use, provide family support, and develop integrated alcohol treatment pathways.
This team includes 3 counsellors, 1 CNM2 and 1 Project Worker and delivers treatment in the context of shared care and integrated care pathways with other HSE services in the Mid West and those working in the community, statutory and voluntary sector.
Information on the service can be found at: The purpose of this Counsellor, Senior Integrated Alcohol Service post is to:
· Provide addiction counselling and/or addiction psychotherapy to Service Users of the IAS.
· Provide line management supervision to the IAS team and clinical co-ordination of the service.
· To ensure service user case management and manage treatment programs delivery.
