JOB DESCRIPTION
OHC is recruiting a Software Developer to join our dynamic team on a 12-month fixed-term contract for a client program where OHC operates as the Implementation Partner.
This role is ideal for a software developer with a passion for building and supporting software solutions, troubleshooting technical issues, and comfortable working in a deadline driven, project environment. You will work closely with client internal teams and software vendor to develop, maintain, and enhance software applications ensuring, where required, full integration with core ERP solution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop and maintain software applications using C# and .NET technologies.
2. Design and implement file and data transformation processes.
3. Integrate applications into MS dynamics based ERP platform.
4. Develop and integrate APIs using JSON and XML formats.
5. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues through support ticket management.
6. Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal stakeholders.
7. Translate requirements from project teams and business into technical solutions working closely with other developers and software vendor to implement them.
8. Perform bug fixes, testing, and deployment of software solutions.
9. Maintain and update technical documentation and user guides.
10. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance technical skills.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
1. Hands-on experience with C# and .NET development.
2. Experience working with JSON, XML, and API development.
3. Use of Python in understanding of data transformation and processing.
4. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
7. Ability to manage support tickets and prioritize workload efficiently.
8. Familiarity with database technologies (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.).
9. Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
10. Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.
11. Exposure to DevOps practices and version control systems (Git, CI/CD).
12. Experience in customer-facing roles.

Work Arrangement
Hybrid working arrangement with at least 3 days per week on site in Drogheda (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are core days). 2 days can be worked remotely from home.
