Job Summary: As the General Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the Rotunda Foundation, ensuring its growth and success in achieving its objectives. You will be responsible for managing a team and collaborating with external partners to drive revenue growth.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead the day-to-day operations of the Rotunda Foundation, driving strategy and execution
* Manage a small team and various external vendors
* Ensure the Foundations objectives are met in line with its mission
* Act as the primary representative and advocate for the Foundation, collaborating with the Board, Hospital staff, donors, and stakeholders
* Foster a culture of innovation, transparency, and accountability
* Ensure compliance with all regulations and governance standards
* Develop and implement strategies for long-term growth, including fundraising and business development
* Manage marketing, promotions, and the Foundations online presence
* Oversee finances, including auditing, budgeting, and grant applications
* Work with the Board to assess the Foundations ongoing resource needs
Preferred Qualifications:
* 5+ years of management or leadership experience
* Experience in the charity or related sector
* Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a relevant field
* Strong relationship-building skills at a senior level
* Experience in business development and PR/marketing
* Experience in event management, CRM, website management, and income generation (an asset)
* Ability to manage finances and understand governance in charity organisations
* Self-driven, innovative, and able to inspire a team
* Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
Terms of Employment:
* Salary: €60k - €75k (depending on experience)
* Full-time position with pension contribution
* 20 days of annual leave plus public holidays, Good Friday, and Christmas Eve (if applicable)
* Flexible and hybrid working options available
* Probation: 6 months
