Location: Flexible, Hybrid, some travel to WEI office in Naas and regional travel may be required.

Wind Energy Ireland:
Wind Energy Ireland (WEI) is Ireland’s leading renewable energy representative body with over 200 members involved in wind and renewable energy development in Ireland. Our primary purpose is to promote the use of wind energy in Ireland, coordinating the work of our members, pooling information and resources.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the coordination of training activities within Green Tech Skillnet (GTS), the training unit of WEI. You will be a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with a keen eye for detail who enjoys working on your own initiative and is naturally organised.
Role Description:
Green Tech Skillnet (GTS) requires a self-motivated individual to coordinate the training bookings and data entry of the network, along with working with accounts and facilitating procurement activity. The role involves:
1. Assisting the Skills Operations Manager with ongoing data capture, procurement preparations, and monthly financial reporting.
2. Preparing for and assisting with Audits, Compliance visits, Procurement processes, and related tasks.
3. Regularly communicating with trainers and member companies to arrange courses and bookings efficiently.
4. Accurately tracking costs associated with all courses to ensure competitive pricing and best value.
5. Managing a shared inbox and addressing or escalating queries as appropriate.
6. Assisting with the development of marketing material for courses.
7. Managing the Skillnet online activity management system, ensuring data entry and quality control to meet KPIs.
8. Supporting applications for funding for future training development programmes.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
1. Ability to work well independently or in a team, with a commitment to see tasks through to completion.
2. Time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
3. Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
4. Well-developed interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.
5. Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
6. 3+ years of experience in administration.
7. A service-minded approach with a strong customer focus.
