Deskside Support Engineer - Immediate start (BBBH3009) Dublin West, Republic of Ireland
Ergo is seeking a Deskside Support Engineer for an immediate contract opportunity with a client in West Dublin. The successful candidate will work closely with the Ergo Managed Services team supporting local users on the M365 stack.
Some travel may be required, so own transport is an advantage but not mandatory.
What will you do?
* Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems when required.
* Install and configure computer hardware and peripherals, operating systems, and applications.
* Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings in line with company policies.
* Provide first and second-line support for laptops and mobile devices.
* Provide training and support to end-users on IT systems and applications.
* Support IT projects, including software updates, migrations, and infrastructure improvements.
* Set up/amend Windows accounts/mailboxes.
You should have experience in the following:
* 3+ years in a Helpdesk / IT Support role.
* Active Directory.
* MS Exchange.
* M365 (Teams, One Drive, SharePoint).
* Network / Systems patching.
* Own transport is an advantage.
