Automation Engineer - Pharmaceuticals
We are looking for an Automation Engineer to work on a large-scale project in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn new technology and develop current skills in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Building Automation System (BAS) and other Utility Automation Control systems, including Siemens DesigoCC.
* Support upgrade projects and provide hands-on support to resolve technical issues.
* Schedule and coordinate work to meet tight deadlines, ensuring that equipment operates as specified.
* Create and carry out test procedures and automation change controls.
* Liaise with installation/project engineers and supervise engineering, vendors, and technical staff.
* Write reports and documentation, including work instructions.
* Ensure safe working conditions and train maintenance and operative staff where necessary.
* Attend Software Factory Acceptance and Site Acceptance Testing.
* Maintain and develop change control systems.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or a related field.
* At least 5 years' experience in providing Building Automation / Building Management system solutions and support to manufacturing organizations in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
* Experience during project delivery and operations support.
* Experience working with Air Handling Units (AHU) / HVAC and other critical utility systems such as cooling towers, compressors.
