About the Job
We are seeking a candidate to join our communications and public affairs team with experience in communications, public relations and/or marketing, specifically in the development and optimisation of communications campaigns, both earned and paid.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the development and delivery of integrated consumer and corporate communications campaigns across a range of platforms.
* Working with CRU teams to identify communications requirements, including development of external communication plans and materials to support publication of policy decisions, consultations and other publications.
* Providing support and expert advice on content for CRU communications channels and platforms, including website, collateral, social media and other marketing initiatives, as required.
* Liaising with the CRU digital development agency to analyse, monitor and report on website and social media platform performance and identify content requirements.
* Identifying opportunities to produce, publish and distribute content in new mediums and channels, e.g. podcasts, video, social media etc.
* Contributing to the development of communications content calendars and ensuring consistency across all channels in voice and tone.
* Actively contributing to the management and day-to-day relationship with CRU third party communications agencies, both above and below the line, to support the delivery of specific consumer communications campaigns, stakeholder engagement and digital strategies.
* Supporting external stakeholder communications, including engagement with Oireachtas and media queries.
* Generation of corporate branded materials and content for stakeholder events including reports, presentations etc.
* Contributing to the development and achievement of the organisation's strategic goals generally and divisional objectives, in particular by participating in cross-divisional projects as required.
* Carrying out such other functions as may be required from time to time to fulfil the business objectives of the CRU and, as appropriate, to the grade.
Requirements
Candidates must have an honours degree in communications, marketing, business, public relations or other relevant discipline, along with 3 or more years' experience in a marketing/communications role. Proficiency in MS applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is also essential.
Package
Starting salary of €58,901, rising to €74,279, with annual increments subject to satisfactory performance.
