Title: Senior HR Generalist
Reporting to: HR Manager
12 Month Fixed term Contract
Location: Tullamore, Co. Offaly

Excellent opportunity for a HR Generalist to work in our clients manufacturing facility in Tullamore. The successful candidate will be a proactive member of the HR team with responsibility for the implementation and delivery of HR policies and procedures which includes recruitment, talent development, diversity and inclusion, benefits, and general HR activities.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist with achieving KPI’s and targets in EHS, Quality, Service, Cost, People Development and Continuous Improvement.
2. Make sure of compliance with all policies and procedures and continuously seek improvements to internal HR procedures which align with legislation. Be a proactive member of diversity, equity, and inclusion committee.
3. Ensure training records, matrices are kept up to date to audit standards – FDA, ISO, TUV IMB, ENHESA, NSAI, IDA to name a few.
4. Establish best practices to reduce levels of absenteeism in company – documenting and managing control procedures and managing capability improvement in the leadership.
5. Improve existing performance management practices with specific focus on high quality appraisals, recognition of excellent performers and management of under-performing employees.
6. Conduct all disciplinaries/grievances fairly and consistently.
7. Support Supervisors and Managers proactively and efficiently with employee relations.
8. Report and escalate any health and safety issues and promote a safe company culture and identify areas for improvement.
9. Ensure completion of payroll, management information reporting on time.
10. Support Talent Acquisition team with open roles and lead recruitment process from end to end.
11. Additional duties may be assigned as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
12. Minimum 2-4 years in training and HR role in a manufacturing unionised environment with excellent knowledge of training, HR plant processes, systems, and personnel.
13. HR Qualification/CIPD Qualified.
14. Excellent IT skills – Microsoft Suite, Workday, Core is advantageous.
15. Experience working with multiple stakeholders and senior leadership teams with ability to influence change.
16. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
17. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
18. Experience leading HR initiatives and review or processes.
19. Commitment to work within ethos of Medical Devices and Supplies Guide to Compliance and Quality Manufacturing and the company business conduct guidelines.
