Quiver is a leading Irish set building company for the TV, film, advertising, and events industry. We also provide commercial fit-outs for brand homes and the hospitality sector.
We are based in South West Dublin and are currently recruiting for an experienced, full-time Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant who is familiar with all aspects of Xero accounting software. The role will be office-based, and we offer a friendly environment where everyone works together as a team.
Duties:
1. Matching POD’s to invoices
2. Purchase invoice processing
3. Invoicing, bank reconciliations, electronic payments, and monthly cashflow projections
4. Managing ledgers, balances, and reconciling to monthly supplier statements
5. Preparation of VAT returns and P30’s
6. Processing weekly payroll
7. Assigning invoices to projects
8. Monitoring emails, opening post, and dealing with accounts queries
9. Assisting with credit control
10. Running reports and creating quarterly management accounts
11. Tracking project spends and budgets
12. Assisting with general office and administration duties
The ideal candidate will have:
1. A solid understanding of bookkeeping and Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
2. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
3. Diploma in Bookkeeping or Accounts Technician qualification
4. Strong numerical ability with proficiency in Microsoft Office
5. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow-up and prioritise
6. Experience using Xero accounting systems is essential
7. Valid work permit and be living in Ireland
This is a permanent role with office hours Monday to Friday.
