Operations Coordinator
Location: Killarney, Co. Kerry
Position: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm, occasional evening and weekend work.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to manage day-to-day operational activities, coordinate with suppliers and team members, and ensure all services meet high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and oversee daily operations, including tour schedules, bookings, and customer service.
* Communicate with staff and third-party vendors to ensure smooth arrangements.
* Manage and update booking systems, itineraries, and schedules.
* Monitor operational performance and address issues promptly to minimize disruption.
* Maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring up-to-date contracts and agreements.
* Assist in recruiting, training, and scheduling of support staff.
* Manage stock control of operational resources, including shop supplies, farm equipment, and promotional materials.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in operations or coordination within the tourism, travel, or hospitality industry.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-first attitude.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Familiarity with local and international tourism trends and regulations.
* Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle unexpected challenges calmly.
* Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours, including weekends or holidays, as required.
