Finance Manager
This role involves joining the Pharmaceutical Development & Manufacturing (PDM) finance team at a Global Life Sciences Company in Cork. The team comprises three sub-teams: Global Manufacturing Finance Centre of Excellence, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Controllership.
Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare and distribute accurate and timely monthly management reports, including financials, shipments, headcount, capital, and expense reporting.
* Partner with site department heads to ensure they are aware of their spending versus budget and latest LE expectations.
* Plan for annual budgets and forecast cycles, meeting all deadlines and deliverables.
* Lead internal and external SOX physical inventory counting programs and attend bi-annual SOX walkthroughs.
* Investigate and reconcile inventory balances and General Ledger account reconciliations.
* Partner with business teams to support OTC (Order to Cash) and IC (Intercompany) processes.
Requirements:
* A qualified Accountant with 5+ years of strong, relevant post-qualification experience.
* Experience in inventory and cost accounting is an advantage.
* Previous people management experience is an advantage.
Additional Skills:
* Ms Office Suite, Word, PowerPoint, Excel advanced, Teams, Oracle.
* SAP S/4 Hana & associated reporting (AO/WEBI) and forecast (SACP) tools would be a major advantage.
* Oracle EBS & associated reporting tools would be an advantage.
VISA Requirements:
* To work in Ireland as this is a Contract role, you will need a Visa: either Stamp 1G or Stamp 4.
