Legal Executive - Debt Recovery

Our debt recovery team wishes to hire an experienced legal executive. The team provides recovery services for businesses, public sector, and lenders in Ireland across a range of sectors. We specialise in volume debt recovery from pre-legal collection through to litigation and enforcement in all Irish courts. Our expert team uses cutting-edge technology and data for maximum effectiveness.
Responsibilities include:
* Administration of repossession litigation files, to include sending regulatory letters to borrowers and defendants;
* Operation of case management system to generate certain legal proceedings, including civil bill for possession and affidavits;
* Service of legal documents upon defendants/their solicitors and generation and swearing of affidavits of service;
* Issuing of legal proceedings and ongoing liaison with court offices across the country;
* Liaison with MHC client representatives, with third-party agents, and with defendants/their solicitors, usually in respect of court dates;
* Preparation of management information reporting to creditor clients/liaison with other team members in relation to the generation and checking of same.
Candidate requirements:
* Minimum of 1 year legal executive experience as part of a debt recovery team;
* Experience with repossession litigation;
* Excellent organisational and time management skills;
* Strong communication and teamwork skills;
* Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Keyhouse or other file management system.
