Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to promote and support independent living, community integration, personal development, and work opportunities for service users. This includes assisting the Manager in developing, implementing, and delivering quality customer-focused community services.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver individual programmes and activities that meet the needs, choices, and abilities of service-users.
* Support service users in identifying their goals, strengths, and needs, and establish a natural support circle.
* Advocate on behalf of and support self-advocacy for service users in various settings.
* Complete positive risk assessments and provide accessible information on available community-based supports.
Requirements
This role requires a Third-level graduate with health and social care equivalent qualifications. Experience working with adults with disabilities and designing/delivering individual programmes is essential.
