Assistant Housing Officer
Our client, a well-established non-profit organisation, is seeking an experienced Assistant Housing Officer to join their operations in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. This is a full-time, office-based, 6-month fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive housing management services.
- Ensure tenants receive a high-quality housing management service.
- Recover rent arrears effectively and meet set targets.
- Address tenancy agreement breaches promptly and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain high standards in customer interactions and ensure properties are let within target times.
Supporting Roles:
- Assist Housing Officers in identifying and implementing estate improvements.
- Encourage resident engagement initiatives and foster community involvement.
- Provide support in managing anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases and other tenancy breaches.
Collaboration:
- Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to ensure smooth planning and delivery of new developments.
- Oversee timely completion of health and safety checks and inspections by Housing Officers.
Enhancing Customer Experience:
- Actively engage tenants to gather feedback on service quality and drive continual improvement.
- Support the development of customer service policies, including customer complaints management.
Maintaining Accurate Records:
- Ensure accurate updates of computerised systems, including Civica Cx, RTB portal, occupancy returns, rent reviews, and data spreadsheets.
- Generate and maintain monthly and quarterly performance reports.
Additional Duties:
- Perform tasks to ensure the effective running of services, including administrative, financial, and health & safety responsibilities.
- Promote and adhere to regulatory requirements, such as GDPR, RTB legislation, and Housing Regulator standards.
Requirements:
- A minimum of four year's experience in client services, high-level customer support, or a dynamic administrative role involving complex responsibilities.
- Excellent administration skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Extensive knowledge of social and affordable housing and of tenancy management.
- A full clean license with access to own vehicle is essential for this role.
- All candidates must currently reside within a commutable distance with full working rights.
Salary: €40,000 - €50,000 per annum.
