What is the Role: Group Internal Audit currently consists of approximately 100 audit professionals operating in Ireland and the UK.
The function operates independently as the third line of defence to provide assurance to the Board Audit Committee on the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control environment.
The department promotes a dynamic work environment, staff empowerment and fully supports flexible working arrangements.
We are now seeking applications from ambitious professionals who are keen to pursue an opportunity as a Senior Data Analyst.
Key accountabilities; Utilising Data Analytics to support Internal Audit testing in collaboration with the audit team; Reviewing and interpreting processed data to identify trends and investigate exceptional items; Continuous adherence to and improvement of the Internal Audit process, specifically the Data Analytics audit approach and strategy; Communicate effectively with management and staff across the organisation by positively conveying the role and value of data analytics in internal audit; and Opportunities to get involved in working groups across the department, e.g.
Methodology, People, Data Analytics, CSR.
What you Will Bring ; Experience with Hyperion/Teradata, SQL or similar programming language, Advanced Excel and data presentation tools.
A relevant third level qualification.
Ability to prepare and present complex information in a sufficient manner for a range of audiences.
An ability to work within teams, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
An ability to work to deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
