The Opportunity
Clinch is looking for a permanent full-time Ruby on Rails Developer Team Lead to join our team in Dublin. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in our team, working closely with the Chief Technology Officer, Product leaders, and Lead Architect. Leading a team of 6, your responsibilities will extend beyond technical expertise, incorporating people and technical leadership components.
Your dynamic role will involve building new product capability to enhance and support our Recruitment Marketing product, contributing to its build, design, testing, and daily release of code to our global customer base as well as coaching the team to achieve their day-to-day product deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technology Stack: Contribute to the development of our recruitment marketing platform built on Ruby on Rails, backed by MySQL. Emphasise clean code practices and maintain anti-fragile infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code on AWS.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of 6 developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Conduct 1:1 fortnightly meetings to provide guidance, support, and align on goals.
3. Technical Excellence: Drive technical excellence within the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality code. Measure and provide constructive advice to junior developers to facilitate their professional growth.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with the Chief Technology Officer and Development team to shape the platform's future. Collaborate on the design, testing, and daily release of code, emphasising a culture of continuous delivery.
