ATG is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Structural Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team in Cork.
In this role, you will support senior engineers in the design, analysis, and inspection of structural components for a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and infrastructure developments.
This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on experience in structural engineering within a collaborative and professional environment.
Responsibilities: Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems using software tools and manual calculations. Support project teams in preparing structural drawings, plans, and specifications. Conduct site inspections and evaluations under the supervision of senior engineers. Contribute to structural reports, technical documents, and engineering calculations. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success. Ensure all designs comply with local codes, standards, and regulations. Stay current with industry trends, standards, and best practices in structural engineering. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. 0-2 years of experience in structural engineering (internship experience preferred). Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit and structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD) is a plus. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
