Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at {company}. The successful candidate will provide cost and contract management services, working within a busy team to support the growth of our quantity surveying practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure projects are delivered in compliance with contracts and governance arrangements.
* Quality assurance and overall project integrity.
* Manage own projects or assist directors in cost and contract management.
* Pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties.
* Report on financial and construction milestones to directors.
* Staff mentoring.
* Assist with preparation of fee proposals and bid submissions.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying.
* 5+ years post-college experience in a consultancy environment.
* Chartered status (MSCSI/MRICS) or working towards it.
* Strong MS Office skills, including Cubit.
* Excellent electronic measurement skills.
* Proven ability to meet deadlines.
* Experience delivering multiple projects concurrently.
* Solid technical understanding of construction documents and methodologies.
* Excellent professional presentation and communication skills.
